Christiana Santos

Christiana has a wide variety of work experience in multiple settings, including skilled nursing, adult outpatient, pediatric outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient neuro-rehabilitation, and adult day programs, working with ages across the lifespan with a variety of physical, neurological, psychosocial, and developmental disorders.
In March 2021, she transitioned into private practice and started Future Forward Pediatrics in Harrisonburg, VA, where she currently provides 1:1 outpatient and therapeutic consultation occupational therapy services to both pediatric and adult patients.
Christiana is known for her warm, fun, engaging, and loving approach in working with patients, and has gained respect through her sensitivity, creativity, and practical tools and methods for success. For all of her clients and patients, she uses a relationship and strengths-based approach to improve and encourage growth within all areas of occupational performance, assisting patients to advance their functional skills and abilities to allow for an overall improved quality of life.Holly Butler

Holly was born and raised in Waynesboro and engaged extensively with pediatrics before becoming an OT. She attended James Madison University for both undergraduate and graduate programs, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, with a concentration in Occupational Studies, and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. While attending JMU she gained experience with a variety of pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, working with individuals in rehabilitation facilities, adults with acquired and traumatic brain injuries, individuals with psychological disorders, and children with diagnoses of Autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and more.
Holly enjoys incorporating play and children’s personal interests in therapy to help them create lives that are meaningful to them. She is certified in MyGuide assistive technology and the Safe and Sound Protocol, a non-invasive vagal nerve stimulator used for the treatment of trauma, anxiety, and neurodevelopmental and mental health symptoms. She is also the voice behind our Future Forward Pediatrics podcast, designed to support parents by providing practical tips and knowledge to help children outside of OT sessions.
Holly recently moved to Suffolk, VA, and now provides OT and Therapeutic Consultation services over a fully virtual platform. In her free time, she can be found at the beach, spending time with her husband, and reading a good book.
Misty Williams
MOT, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist
Misty Williams is from the small town of Marion in Southwestern Virginia. She graduated from JMU with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy in 2008. Prior to this, she studied Health Sciences and Nutrition at UNC Greensboro with a focus in Athletic Training. She fell in love with the friendly city and mountains of Harrisonburg.
Her career focus thus far has included specializing in rehabilitation with the geriatric population including dementia care. She has worked in skilled nursing facilities, adult outpatient, rehab, and acute care settings. She has recently become interested in transitioning to the pediatric population. Misty is certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Vision Techniques for Eye Movement Disorders, and Brain Gym 101 Training – Balance for Daily Life. She has a passion for treating eye movement disorders to improve focus, attention, reading, writing, and everyday functional activities. Her caring approach aims to help individuals have confidence that they can succeed.
In her free time, Misty loves to spend time with her children and prefers the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, biking, running, and camping while focusing on a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
Mary Louise Craver

Mary comes with over 36 years experience as an occupational therapist in pediatrics, having provided assessment and treatment of all ages with a variety of diagnoses. She has been in private practice for over 25 years. She is best known for her warm, engaging approach in working with children. She has gained respect from colleagues and families for her high expectations, insight, and practical tools for success. Her experience has enabled her to model peaceful control of challenging behaviors, integrate methods into a variety of settings, and train those involved in the care and instruction of each child for optimal performance.
Mary graduated from Towson University in 1985 with a B.S. in occupational therapy and in 1991 with a M.S. in occupational therapy with a pediatric specialty. Affiliates have included John’s Hopkins, Kennedy Krieger, Children’s Hospital National Medical Center, The Reginald Lorie Center, and Weinfeld Education Group. She was certified in Sensory Integration and Praxis Testing in 1989 and Pediatric Neuro-developmental Treatment in 1994. These certifications have enabled her to detect and treat sensorimotor problems affecting higher-level skills.
Mary has had success in helping children with social skills, self-regulation of emotional, attention and activity levels, organization, writing output, legible handwriting, keyboarding skills, fine motor coordination, and independence in
activities of daily living. In addition, Mary uses her skills in neuro-developmental treatment to address atypical movement, balance, and coordination difficulties.
Mary loves being an occupational therapist, creating new tools for teaching, advancing her knowledge and wisdom, spending time with family and friends, serving in her community, being outdoors, and hosting guests in The Log Cabin Inn!
